Spectra 2014: New Year’s Eve Under the Arches

Offering guests an eclectic mix of entertainment including outdoor metal and fire sculptures by the Iron Monkeys, aerial performances by Suspended Animation, planetarium shows, rotating laser shows in Seattle’s largest laser theater and a champagne toast at midnight, this night is sure to be unforgettable. The event will also have four dance floors with cash bars, music by notable DJs hand-selected by KEXP and unbeatable views of the fireworks to make NYE 2014 your best New Year’s Eve yet. Walkin’ on New Year’s Eve
If you are looking for something to do with the kids come December 31, Walkin’ on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day is the perfect way to ring in 2014. Participate in a 5- or 10-kilometer walk as you reminisce on the year that has passed, take in beautiful views of holiday lights, the Seattle skyline and Puget Sound, and enjoy delicious hot soup with the whole family. The free event will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and 9 a.m. to noon on New Year’s Day. Walks will begin at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in West Seattle.
Indulgence: Seattle’s Swankiest New Year’s Eve Bash
Indulgence is back for it’s 12th annual New Year’s Eve Bash. Claiming to be one of Seattle’s largest, swankiest NYE celebrations, the party hosts over 3,000 guests at the EMP Museum for a night of live entertainment from DJs, comedians and cover bands. No date this year? Indulgence also features a singles-only cocktail hour before the party begins to allow singles to mingle before the crowds arrive.

Hosted by USC Events, this NYE party boasts a white and gold theme, 6,000-balloon drop at midnight, mind blowing performances by talented acrobats and promises an unforgettable experience. World famous EDM duo, Nervo, will open the event that takes place at WaMu Theater from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. on NYE. Headliners will be Above & Beyond and Knife Party.
